Full of fabrications and insinuation ‘Srikov’s’ comments most likely were copied from
a standard Kremlin propaganda manual.

Huh? Who is the writer trying to kid? For those not in the know, the so-called Ukrainian “separatists” are actually Russian Spetsnaz and Guards Airborne troops, which is why a Russian colonel, Igor Strelkov, is in command and not a Ukrainian.*

These disguised Russian military units entered the Ukraine last February when the Ukrainian population, nationwide, revolted against the Communist government in Kiev,** the cause for the revolt being the weakened security apparatus within the nation, where most of the Ukrainian Army was in either Syria or Iraq, or preparing to enter Iraq from Turkey, pretending to be Muslim “Jihadists” (Islamic State). The Islamic State “Jihadists” wearing the silly masks are the Ukrainians, hiding their pale Caucasian/Slavic identities.

Now that the rebellion in the Ukraine is winding down, Putin can “…sign off on some kind of compromise peace deal with the Ukrainian president Petro Poroshenko, there will be millions of Russians brainwashed by months of state television’s patriotic propaganda who will agree with Strelkov that Moscow is selling the rebels down the river.”

Moscow & Allies tasked the West to create Islamic State in southern Turkey (using Ukrainian troops to augment the fake “Islamists”) in order (1) to continue spotlighting the chaos the West causes around the globe, though it’s actually Moscow & Allies causing the chaos via their Marxist puppets in Western capitals; thereby (2) decreasing the prominence of the West in the eyes of the world; and (3) further weaken the United States Armed Forces via never ending wars per Moscow & Allies’ tasked “War on Terror; the United States Armed Forces will be re-deployed to Iraq.

The fraudulent “collapse” of the USSR (and East Bloc) couldn’t have been pulled off until both political parties in the United States (and political parties elsewhere in the West) were co-opted by Moscow & Allies, which explains why verification of the “collapse” was never undertaken by the West, such verification being (1) a natural administrative procedure (since the USSR wasn’t occupied by Western military forces); and (2) necessary for the survival of the West. Recall President Reagan’s favorite phrase, “Trust, but verify”.

Notice that not one political party in the West demanded verification of the collapse of the USSR, and the media failed to alert your attention to this fact, including the “alternative” media. When determining whether the “former” USSR is complying with arms control treaties, what does the United States do to confirm compliance? Right, the United States sends into the “former” USSR investigative teams to VERIFY compliance, yet when it’s the fate of the West that’s at stake should the collapse of the USSR be a ruse, what does the United States do to confirm the collapse? Nothing!

It gets worse–the West also never (1) de-Communized the Soviet Armed Forces of its Communist Party officer corps, which was 90% officered by Communist Party members; and (2) arrested and detained the 6-million vigilantes that assisted the Soviet Union’s Ministry of the Interior and police control the populations of the larger cities during the period of “Perestroika” (1986-1991)!

There can be no collapse of the USSR (or East Bloc nations) without…

Verification, De-Communization and De-mobilization.

**As hundreds of statues of Lenin were being toppled throughout the Ukraine, statues that were supposed to have been toppled back in 1991 if the collapse of the USSR were real and not the strategic ruse it is.

Of course, Ed is right about Nazis too – after all, in Ukraine there are not enough Islamists, so Banderovetzes are good enough to use by NATO (CIA used Banderovetzes about 60 years ago)

The background information is especially good and essential to understanding what is happening in Ukraine today. Where Bojcun’s narrative falls short is when he downplays the importance of neo-Nazi fascist nationalists in the “Maidan movement.” The one key question that Bojcun never asks is: do the oligarchs control the neo-fascist nationalists – especially the neo-Nazi militias – or do they control them? Clearly with the ethnic cleansing and other war crimes that have be perpetrated on the “masses” in eastern Ukraine and Odessa, the junta has little or no control on what the nationalist militias do. Sadly, in Ukraine history is repeating itself. Like Germany and Italy, the Ukrainian oligarchs have used the nationalist “brown shirts” to gain power, only to see that fascist violence holding the balance of power.

If “everyday life in those parts of Ukraine not at war does not leave an impression that a fascist junta is in power” it can only be chalked up to the banality of evil. Most Ukrainians still want a relatively nonviolent resolution to the civil war and are willing to obey orders and avoid thinking independently and critically about who it is that is ruling the country and what they are doing. There may be a “vibrant free press” but sadly that is largely because there is no viable radical left in the country, nor is there much diversity or independence in that vibrancy. It should also be noted that the junta has tried to outlaw internet support for the so-called separatists but clearly their capacity for a crackdown on dissent is very limited – especially with most of the neo-Nazi thugs already preoccupied. This is also very evident in the refusal of many of the “masses” to be conscripted into the ethnic cleansing, aka anti-terrorist operation.

What is yet to be determined is Bojcun’s optimistic conclusion that “Maidan has reawakened in the Ukrainian masses the desire to shape their own destiny free from domestic and foreign ruling classes.” Whether the Minsk agreement can lead to a true mass movement for real, direct, participatory democracy and autonomy – rather than the sham representative democracy of the West and its oligarchic capitalism – remains to be seen. At the moment, it is the banality of evil that has carried the day in Ukraine.

The very narrow vote was a reaction to russia seeming to be too close to the west in accepting IMF deals.
So completely the opposite is true.
The western imperial powers have since the ww1 with the kaiser and ww2 with bandera atempted to fool the ukrainian russyns that they are ethncly different from other russsyns which they are not solely for there own power gain.
The hotbed of descent in the west of the ukraine is the least ukrainian part of the country as it used to be part of the ausstro hungarian empiire and has a strong catholic(saturnic) influence.
